PopPop's Even Sadder

Hi Daryl,

Your Pop pop passed away early Friday morning. It was peaceful and pain free. Grandma couldn't get hold of me then because I was on my way to BWI to go to Nashville. She just called. There will be no service or memorial. Your Pop pop didn't want any service or anything just to be cremated. Jodi and I are going up in August to visit with the grnadmas. I hate to pass on sad news to you when you are so far from family but I'm sure you would wnt to know. Grandma will have a tough adjustment, I believe. I am going to try to remember to call her at least once a week. Hope you are well and with friends. Pop pop would never want to be living the way he has been the past few years. I'm sure he is with your Dad andd at peace now.
