Dude, getting your e-mails at minimum tells me that you're still alive and well.
Okay, so I hope you got your dental work done while you were back in the US. As
for your financial status I'm assuming you're selling enough shirts, ponchos and
other garb to continue taking the path least traveled.
I just got back from Vietnam at the beginning of the year. It was pretty
awesome, though my girlfriend and I stayed at all 4-5 star hotels for the most
part.
Sapa and the hikes through the rice paddy fields and villages were awesome. The
market bizarres high up in the mountains were interesting as well. We spent a
couple of days cruising on a Saipan in Halong Bay and ate a ton of seafood. We
spent a few days shopping and exploring Hoi An and Danang. And would up the trip
in Saigon getting massages every day and partying our butts off until the
bars/clubs closed.
So there you have it... 3 weeks in Vietnam eating, drinking, exploring and
enjoying the spas and beautiful women!
