Tools, Socks, and Salt Plains

12/08/2004

yeah i found the hotel but not the socks or tools... reckon the shifty man there nicked em.

ended up not taking the tour easy route after all and motorcycled the whole bit. was rough but nice. right now i am in chile and it is damn expensive and got nothing culturally inspiring about it. it is actually more expensive then the states in many ways. gas is the worst of them. the cheapest hotel room is about $5 and in no ways beats a 40 bolivian room.

damn dude you been getting scalped on that card twice now huh? sounds like you need a Groovy Silk Safe.

stay cool...

Oye Amigo, Sorry I have been out of touch for a little while. Got my bank card nicked here in Cusco and haven't had any money (or food for about a week). Ok the tools and socks they are in a Hostel with a small blue sign that sticks out from the building, on the same block where the bus stops when it comes into town from La Paz. Directly across the street is a place called Andrea tours. It is near Andrea tours where we caught the Land cruiser to Tupiza. As for the Salt flats the only time we were on them was at night or really early in the morning. You would be better off asking one of the drivers how they know where to go.
