Dave's Grand Canyon Run

Hi Daryl!

Long time since TI when we worked together. I don't get much chance to check out your travel updates, but I get a kick out of following your progress around the globe with the short emails.

Right now I am on vacation at the Grand Canyon. My 16-yr-old son and I ran from the rim down to the river and back (20 mi, 5K ft elevation change) in a day (actually 6 hours). The rangers try real hard to talk you out of this. Too many fat Americans think they can do this and wind up needing to be rescued. We had a ball!

Do you have any plans to go back to work someday? I can't believe you still have money to keep all this travel going.
