Angelina's Crisis

I'm glad your in Peru at the moment. It's good to hear about your adventures, because it brings back the memory and feeling of the place. We very much liked Arequipa when we were there, and the Ice Maiden is a really worth while thing to see. It's a little expensive in comparison to most things, but well worth it as all the money goes to further their research. Peru is a special place with special people.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. It's interesting to hear your perception of me. I think us human beings are the strangest creatures on the planet. It's this thinking process that gets us in to trouble most of the time. We think too much. Interesting your perception of yourself, because I would say that your perception of me applies to you as well. When I met you the most vivid thing I remembered about you was the look of fascination in your eyes. An innocents and intrigue, a wonder at things. And the amazing work you were doing at Computer Motions. I would say that you could also be all that you wanted if you could just find out what life means to you. And maybe your having a mid-life crisis as well :-) !! But a little bit early of course!!

I think for me my mid-life crisis, is about finding what life is all about for me. For too long I have tried to fit into a world that doesn't really work!! And feeling like there is something wrong with me, because everyone else seems to manage it. But I think the truth is, and I see this more and more each day, is that nobody is really managing it, they are just trying their best to fit. And what I think the challenge is, is to find my own path and what is important to me. What the meaning of my life and the purpose for me being here, and break out of this idea of conformity equal safety, comfort and acceptance. I think we are each challenged in our own way, and what challenges us the most is our own inner truth. I had this funny dream the other night; a friend of mine was driving my car and missed the way and the car turned upside down. And after taking a look at that dream, I feel like I'm being turned upside down and possibly inside out. But I don't mind, because if it gets me out of this particular mind set then it will be worth it.
