King's Bony Face

11/30/2003

They are paving a road through the Sahara...

This is definitely not the type of news that would draw a smile on my bony face! But there is no reason to feel any bad about it. There are many other places covered by a very good land roads network and yet it prays for attention: Arabia, Iran, all of the ex-soviet states; for these countries and others roads have never been an obstacle to get there and see, its always about politics … no tourist visas in the case of Arabia; civil wars, stereo type in the case of Africa, in most of cases it is fear from going to a place that have not been covered by swamps of tourist and others … the very same reason that makes such places more appealing to people like us.. out going, nuts, courageous, stupid.. call it what ever … and u will be there !

Secondly, the proposed road is still at large at the drawing rooms.. and judging from how other things work in Africa, it will take a looong time before it sees the sun for real! Plus the plan of the road makes it run along the Atlantic coast which means that the highly acclaimed west Saharan desert will still be off the beaten track!

Yes dude im married alright and I love her .. she is gr8, she is everything I would ever dream in a woman (exceptions do apply!! ) lately I have joined a flee market in my town where I used to sell my wife’s cooked Moroccan meals.. and we made a gr8 job at it ! Im sure you will love it as u need to add more weight to ur rocky buttocks.

cheers
