Marco's Greetings From Switzerland

Hey there!

You receive this email because i met you on my one-year around the world trip with my motorcycle or just because you are an english (or russian, or spanish, or korean or whatever...) speaking friend of mine!

I just wanted to let you know, that I'm fine and to tell you a bit what I am doing now! As you might already know, I came back to switzerland in april this year, earlier than I thought, because I ran out of money :-) It happened that in the middle of nowhere in patagonia my fork tubes of my Africa Twin (she's got a name by now - Barbie.... ;-) broke. I spent quite a lot of time with thinking about what i could do with so few money left, I thought about applying for a job in argentina or chile, borrowing some money or something! But in the end I decided to use my last money for flying back to switzerland and look there for work.

So, I landed back in switzerland in april with about 20 USD in cash left and thanks to the help and house of my parents I got a warm welcome and had no real sorrows after this beautiful voyage! Soon, I started to look for a job and my former employer wanted me to come back, made a good offer and so I decided to work in the heart of zurich for a while. I'm now working in computer and network security as an engineering consultant, quite a nice job but a bit stressy. That's probably why it took me about half a year to write this email :-)

But the travelling disease didn't leave me alone, so I went back for three weeks of holidays in october to have a look at Barbie which is still parked in argentina, ready for new adventures! But it will take some time to let me ride her again, I've got some other plans!

I'm now seriously thinking about starting to study, so this would mean that I couldn't travel for something like four years. The question is just where, when and what will I study??!? any recommendations highly appreciated ;-)

Ok, I don't want to bore you with my story! But there are is an important thing I want to tell you!

You made my unfinished trip around the world by motorcycle an unforgettable and unique experience! May it be that I just met you on the road, that I was inivited by you to sleep in your house or for dinner, may it be that you helped me with my motorbike, i will keep you in my mind forever !!!

So, that was my message for now, hope to see you on the next round or who knows, here in switzerland or wherever I will be? ;-)
