Gunnar's Soaked With Shit

11/28/2005

Sorry to hear you're getting soaked. At least it's just water....I'm getting soaked with "shit" here!

Sorry to be somewhat negative. It's just that I'm stuck in a huge, inefficient beaurocracy. I work with GIS/Remote Sensing (Basically computer mapping and satellite imagery stuff) at Mississippi State U. and it ain't nothin but the "good ol' boy" network down here.

I'm definitely NOT a southerner, and lose repect for the South by the day. It's such a shame. As with the "tale of the tail" that conforms to the social norms, I've found that that's what most people in the university environment do too...at least here. It's not about using your brain...it's about following the herd.

Anyways...bla, bla, bla....I've probably bored you enough. Just wanted to give a shout and cheer you onward. You've got balls...most people don't even come close.

Peace, G
