Yurgen & Saskia's Cheap Accomodation in Uruguay

Still in Buenos Aires and feeling better?. Did your friend come? And a good time together?

We found a very cheap place to stay for you. In the centre of Montevideo, in a hotel called City Hotel at the corner of Buenos Aires and Missiones. One night is 160 UrPesos, but 1 month is 1600 UrPesos. At least that's on their card. So a big chance not? We stayed there for a few nights and the brasilian owner (Sebastien) is a very enthousiastic woman. She owns more places to stay for a longer time, so she will find a solution if the hotel is ful. The only thing is, it's not in Buenos Aires, but one ship-trip away. The hotel is in a nice place, just two blocks from the sea and in the old town. The zippers are still working, we appriciated it a lot of days, because in Uruguay we camped a lot. Very nice country to travel through, people are very kind and helpful. Empty roads, a bit undulating.

We are now in Rivera, taking the shortcut through Brasil to go to the Iguazufalls, where we will arrive in about two weeks.
