Jon Goes - Bike Stays

Hola amigas y familia,

How are you? I am in Azul, 200 miles southwest of Buenos Aires. Where I will store bike for about 8 monthes, while I return to USA. So I have/get to return to explore northeastern South Am. It's been a great tour, but I need a break from bike to recooperate. Hopefully I see you to share some stories.

I am camping in backyard of home of some of the greatest people I have met at no charge...only accept donations. They are so friendly, hospitable, and kind. It is bikers haven, which has (good) graffiti on walls and letters in guestbook. There is a writing on the wall that says: To meet people that teach us again and again how to open our arms to the world, to welcome the strange and celebrate our differences. To travel is to learn is to grow is to LIVE! (written by another ttraveler) This is how my whole tour has been going--it is amazing the great folks I have met. Traveling is also intensified living...and learning. So I leave you with that note and hope to hear from you and see you soon.
