hello everybody,

well my last trip is over and i will be coming home this saturday (dec. 18). this jungle trip was a little shorter than the last, but just as Amazing. i, again, spent a few weeks in the community of shintuya. my last trip there the church was two or three people, but since we were gone Mario baptized two of his sons, his wife surrendered her life to Jesus, and a couple of other folks have started meeting with the believers. when we arrived the church had trippled in size, and they have a very strong desire to grow in their relationships with their Savior. by the grace of God we met nearly every night and they learned all the Old Testament stories exept one. there are a total of fifteen stories that we teach from the Old Testament. please pray that God will continue to strengthen their faith, pray that God will continue to hide His Word in their hearts, and pray that they will continue to meet together while we are not there.

the second half of my trip was spent in the community of Puerto Azul. there are around seven families that live in puerto azul. the church there is awesome. God has given them the love for His Word incomparable to anything i have seen. the church there consists of ten to twelve believers, but most of the non-believers meet with the church as well. God is working mightily in the lives of three of the non-believers especially. there names are: Wilber, Paluca, and Abdhon. please keep these men in your prayers. the church learned all the stories of the Old Testament, and due to their studying we discussed stories from the New Testament as well. please pray the same things for the puerto azul church that i mentioned about the shintuya church.

well my time here in Peru is coming to an end very qiuckly. i want to let you all know how special you are to me. God has heard your prayers and He is doing Great things here. thank you so very much for all your support, encouragement, and prayers.

i will be sending one more email when i return to the states to share a few more things about my trip. i look forward to seeing you all either at church, school, Christmas parties, or just around. i truly love each of you very deeply.
