The Dominos Puzzle

Need:
A chess board with 8 x 8 or 64 squares
32 dominos (each covers 2 squares)

Problem:
The board may be tiled using the dominos to cover all squares
Now, remove one domino and two opposing corner squares of the chess board
Is it now possible to cover the 62 squares using the 31 dominos?
