Back in chiule and on the way to Torres Del Paine
In through the back door, together with this Japanese crazy

the back door approach to Torres Del Paine
and we are in

a beautiful park, especially for free
evidence of the catastrophic fire that some Checzh tourist started by accident last week and took out a good bit of the park
Some fun nights with the Torres camp park rangers
up to the mirador on my first attempt to witness the towers during sunrise
failed for the clouds and the cold and the rains
have to try again tomorrow
a second try and a bit better


the intense color is for real


sunrise is over, but i stay with hopes to see the peaks
eventually the clouds begin to clear






a man from new jersey arrives
making himself out to be some professional photographer



and this is what he took of me... cutting off the towers and pronouncing the rock i am standing on :+?
the hike out with my new friends

and motoring back across the park to see the Grey Glacier, which i skipped after it started pouring
